Replicator V3 Workflow

With the replicator V3 I approached form to have a certain rigidity. I was at the time inspired having seen cubli ( there is a well put together video of it here). It was also important to take into account a way to merge a speaker of some sort into the inner (secondary) frame.
So I started drawing everything up with AutoCAD. From all the plans, sections and elevations (and because the form was mainly square) I only used the plans to project the form in Rhino3D. For the most part this was a real learning curve for me. Went thru several rounds rendering with V-RAY for Rhino (thankfully for the V-RAY RT I saved time!) The rest was just a matter of post-production with Photoshop.
Here's what the final form looks like.
